Autonomous Maintenance Agent
An AI agent that keeps codebases secure and up to date, automatically.
An autonomous maintenance agent that continuously audits applications for security vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies and end-of-life frameworks, then plans and applies the upgrades itself. It works across React, Flutter, .NET, PHP and Python (Flask API) projects, replaces deprecated code and checks every change before handing it over as a ready-to-review pull request.
The challenge
Keeping software up to date is repetitive but risky. Most businesses run several products on different stacks, security advisories land every week, and a single major upgrade can ripple through hundreds of places in the code. Done by hand it is slow and easy to postpone, until outdated software turns into a security incident.
The approach
I designed an agent that works like a careful engineer on the team. It checks applications for known security issues and outdated packages, reads the upgrade guides, plans a safe upgrade path and updates outdated code. Before anything is handed over it confirms the app still builds and works, fixing and rechecking problems on its own, and each change arrives as a clear proposal explaining what changed and why.
The result
Routine maintenance shifted from a recurring manual chore to an automated, reviewable workflow. Applications stay patched and on supported versions while engineers focus on product work, and a human still approves every change.
Key features
One Agent, Every Stack
Audits React, Flutter, .NET, PHP and Python (Flask API) projects for security issues, outdated packages and end-of-life frameworks, ranked by risk.
Intelligent Upgrades & Refactoring
Plans version bumps across the stack and replaces deprecated methods with modern equivalents using changelogs and migration guides.
Verified Pull Requests
Builds, tests and self-corrects before delivering a documented pull request. Nothing merges without human review.
