FWEAN BDC App

Bookkeeping and business learning for women entrepreneurs in Nepal

FWEAN BDC is a mobile app that helps women business owners record cash in and out, plan cash flow and learn from entrepreneur guides. It works offline, supports Nepali language and Nepali dates, and is published on Google Play.

The challenge

Many small business owners keep records on paper or in their heads, often with weak internet. The app had to be simple enough to use daily, work without a connection, and fit how people in Nepal actually count time and money.

The approach

Every entry is saved on the phone first, so owners can record sales and expenses anywhere, even without a connection. The app speaks their language, with Nepali dates and a Nepali or English toggle, and turns daily entries into balances, budgets and cash flow projections. Backups protect records when a phone changes, reminders keep owners on track, and guides, documents, surveys and mentor booking sit in the same app so learning happens alongside the bookkeeping.

The result

Business owners can record transactions, see balances and projections, and read guides and documents in one app. It is live on Google Play with 100+ downloads and has kept growing features since 2022, including mentor booking and surveys.

Key features

Cash flow tracking

Record inflows and outflows by category and account, then view balances, budgets and projections against actuals.

Works offline, in Nepali

Nepali dates, a language switch and backups, so records never depend on a connection.

Learning and mentoring

Entrepreneur guides, documents, surveys, a daily log and mentor booking inside the same app.
